Abilene Christian University senior Autumn Vaught, a secondary education major from Burke, Virginia, found out this month she received a Fulbright U.S. Student Program award for an English Teaching Assistantship for the 2021-22 academic year from the U.S. Department of State and the Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board. For nine months next year, she will work as an English Teaching Assistant in a plurilingual high school in the Galicia region of Spain

The GRFP recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students in NSF-supported STEM disciplines who pursue research-based master's and doctoral degrees at accredited U.S. institutions. The five-year fellowship includes three years of financial support with an annual stipend of $34,000 and a cost-of-education allowance of $12,000 to the institution.

Abilene Christian University congratulates Dean's Honor Roll students for the Fall 2020 semester. Students earn Dean's Honor Roll recognition by achieving a 3.6 or higher GPA while enrolled in at least 12 credit hours.
